fame & fortune
I am somewhat famous now.  The radio show "Wait! Wait! Don't Tell Me" yesterday had a mention of one of my novels, I think The Hemingway Hoax

Didn't identify the author, though.

Awesome! We're regular listeners, though we download it as a podcast and listen when we're doing long drives. Thursday we're going to Las Cruces, 90 miles one way, so it'll get a listening.

From Gay H.: It was one of their questions, from THE ACCIDENTAL TIME MACHINE. Guess which of the three situations are really from a book.

Their home station is WBEZ in Chicago, which transmits everything two or three times (cheapness), but I'm on the way home from Confusion, so I had no chance to hear this weekend's show.
I do have a great personal story about helping Gene Wolfe chase down a bit of his used (with attribution, I emphasize) in the Harper's doublecrosstic without anybody bothering to tell him.

I'm not familiar with the show, but the title did immediately make me think "... sounds like a BBC Radio 4 comedy panel programme". Thus, less than shocked to learn it's on NPR!

Congratulations on Home Service-level crossover appeal!

Exactly the sort of thing it's a copy of.
